The Northeast Kingdom is just that, a Kingdom in the Northeast part of Vermont filled with the best food destinations, outdoor recreation, breweries, arts, culture and more!  Below are a few of our favorite local attractions.

Parker Pie, just a mile down the road, offers world class pizza, comfort food, as well as an excellent variety of beers and wine on tap. If you're staying for an event or vacation rental, make sure to catch some live music entertainment as well.

If mountain biking on single track is the thrill you seek, check out Kingdom Trails in Burke.

Of course, those looking for world class alpine skiing and snowboarding need to check out Jay Peak and Burke Mountain.

The Craftsbury Outdoor Center is a wonderful green training facility for skulling, nordic skiing, running, and all sorts of outdoor recreation.

Lakes and rivers in Northeastern Vermont are unpolluted, suitable for swimming, boating and other water sports. Visitors enjoy the pristine lakes and natural beauty of the region every summer.

Glover's unique Bread & Puppet Museum is open year round and summer performances (by donation) provides critical political theatre. In Brownington, see history come alive at the Old Stone House Museum.

Check out The Pump House at Jay Peak, an Indoor resort water park that boasts waterslides, kids’ pools & a lazy river, plus an arcade & snack bar.

The Hill Farmstead Brewery in nearby Greensboro makes the world's most highly awarded brews. Also in Greensboro, Circus Smirkus has summer shows to delight the whole family.

The Runaway Manor is located in Glover, Vermont, in the Lake Region of the The Northeast Kingdom. Easy to moderate hikes with phenomenal views are available at the Willoughby State Forest and Bald & Haystack Mountains. There are also a large number of Back Road Bike Trips that are less technical than Kingdom Trais but still a great workout and the best way to see the land.
